PROUDLY SHARING MUSIC WITH SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN FOR OVER 25 YEARS!
About Us
The mission of the ROCC is to provide a high-quality vocal music education program centered on performance for Singers in grades three through eight. Throughout each season, ROCC Singers will develop their musical artistry, foster meaningful relationships, and build confidence in a learning environment that is nurturing, fun and professional. Singers will utilize these skills to take part in meaningful performance opportunities locally and beyond, helping to ensure they become well rounded musicians.

Our Story
Our story begins in the summer of 1997 when a small workshop under the name of "The Royal Oak Capital Choir" began teaching patriotic vocal music to local school children. The workshop culminated in a performance tour over the Independence Day weekend in Washington D.C. Due to the amazing success of this experience, by 1998 this small group officially adopted the name "The Royal Oak Children's Choir" (ROCC) and began their first full season as a tuition-based group.
Since then, the ROCC has evolved with the times. Our Singers now learn a wide variety of vocal music repertoire, perform around the community, and across the country, in places such as Colorado, Tennessee, New York City, and have even sung in Canada.
